Big Bear is 1-9 against Excelsior Charter since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Big Bear is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, Big Bear came up short against Xavier Prep and fell 9-6. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chase Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against University Prep, falling 16-4.

Excelsior Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Big Bear, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Big Bear suffered a grim 22-0 defeat to Excelsior Charter in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
