Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taft). They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 77-42 victory over the Willamina Bulldogs. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Taft has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.8 points. As for Willamina, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Taft didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-38 win against Jefferson on the 15th. Willamina has also already played their next game, a 70-36 defeat against Amity on the 15th.
