There's no place like home for Conant, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake Park Lancers on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Lancers back in April, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Lake Park scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Lake Park still got an impressive performance from Luke Bonacci, who had nine digs and one assist.

Conant is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Lake Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-10.

Looking ahead, Conant will head out to challenge Schaumburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saxons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Park, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Charles North on the 13th.
