Volleyball Recap: Lewis-Palmer Takes Down Canon City in a Playoff Battle

Lewis-Palmer extended their postseason success on Saturday against Canon City. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Rangers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lewis-Palmer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Canon City between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Cady Knight, who had 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

Despite the loss, Canon City still got an impressive performance from Sophie LeDoux, who had 11 digs and nine assists.

Lewis-Palmer's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Canon City, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Lewis-Palmer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Standley Lake on the 13th. Canon City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
