Rison is a perfect 7-0 against Barton since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will take on the Bears at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Rison was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 20-14 to Fordyce. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Barton earned a 32-20 victory over Lakeside on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Rison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Barton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-5.

Everything came up roses for Rison against Barton when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 56-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
