Baseball Recap: Messalonskee Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Messalonskee won the last time they faced Nokomis and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles blew past the Warriors 9-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Messalonskee let Sean Achorn and Ty Bernier run wild. Achorn went 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Bernier went 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that Bernier has launched this season. Logan Baron was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Messalonskee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
