Volleyball Recap: Everett Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

If Cascade wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Everett, they should've done a better job of containing Jammy Thomas. The Seagulls blew past the Bruins 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Thomas, who had 13 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

The victory snapped Everett's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record. As for Cascade, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett will face off against rival Snohomish at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cascade is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
