Recap: Manzanola Bobcats vs. Hanover Hornets
The Manzanola Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. The matchup between them and Hanover wasn't particularly close, with Manzanola falling 34-17. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Manzanola in their matchups with Hanover: they've now lost three in a row.
Manzanola's loss came despite strong showings from Jullian Chavez and Canye Trujillo. Chavez scored two points along with nine steals, while Trujillo scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals. Mark Holland was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Alexis Moreno was a one-man wrecking crew for Hanover as he scored ten points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moreno has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tanner Lindsey, who scored eight points.
Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hanover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.
Manzanola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-12 defeat vs. Wiley on the 9th. Hanover has also already played their next match, a 59-17 defeat against Arickaree on the 9th.
