Sandpoint has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lakeland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sandpoint is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Coeur d'Alene, who was ranked 13th at the time (Sandpoint was ranked 18th). Neither the Bulldogs nor the Vikings could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lakeland lost 4-1 to Lake City on Tuesday. Lakeland were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Apolo Gratzinger, who's now up to three this season.

Sandpoint's draw makes their record 9-3-2 this season. As for Lakeland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6-1.

Everything went Sandpoint's way against Lakeland in their previous matchup back in September, as Sandpoint made off with a 6-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
