Softball Recap: Andrew Jackson Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Andrew Jackson finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Mandarin Mustangs, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Andrew Jackson's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Mandarin, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Andrew Jackson will challenge Atlantic Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic Coast is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Mandarin, they will square off against Sandalwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
