Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame lost against Lansing last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crusaders fell 7-3 to the Bobcats. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Notre Dame saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Strong, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI were Strong's first of the season.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lansing, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame will face off against Whitney Point at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lansing, they will head out on the road to square off against Edison at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
