Basketball Recap: Western Warriors vs. South Summit Wildcats
After flying high against Farrington last Thursday, Western came back down to earth. The Western Warriors lost to the South Summit Wildcats on the road by a 66-49 margin on Friday.
Logan Woolstenhulme was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten boards for South Summit. Woolstenhulme's afternoon made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Blake Osguthorpe was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.
Western's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for South Summit, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Western wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-39 defeat against Mary Star of the Sea on the 21st. As for South Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-57 loss against Sabino on the 21st.
