Gage Hedstrom put up the most passing yards he's had since back in September of 2024 on Friday. He rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 244 yards and six TDs. He was dominant the last time he took on Creighton back in September of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Hedstrom showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 64 yards.

Looking ahead, Hedstrom and St. Mary will take on Ainsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Hedstrom up against the Bulldogs' star quarterback Chris Fernandez.
