June Buchanan won the last time they faced Buckhorn and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted against the Wildcats since September 24, 2019.

The victory made it two in a row for June Buchanan and bumps their season record up to 7-12. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-20 Buckhorn and 6-9 Jackson City. As for Buckhorn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.
