Soccer Recap: Southwest Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southwest Guilford and Porter Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Southwest Guilford had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Pirates. While losing is never fun, Southwest Guilford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Porter Ridge are ranked 22nd).

Southwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9-3. As for Porter Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 18-4-3.

As of now, neither Southwest Guilford nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
