Soccer Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Minisink Valley on Monday, Middletown came back down to earth. The Middie Bears fell just short of the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Middletown have struggled against Monroe-Woodbury recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Monroe-Woodbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Coincidentally, Middletown and Monroe-Woodbury will both be playing Kingston the next time they take the pitch. The Middie Bears will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
