Football Recap: Martez Wilson Leads Schurz's Defense on Thursday

The Schurz Bulldogs were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 20-14 to the UIC College Prep Firecats.

Although Schurz took the loss, they still got scores from Mitchel Quiles and Martez Wilson.

Schurz didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Wilson. Schurz got some further help from Kamarion Fagairo: he picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made three total tackles.

Schurz's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for UIC College Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.
