Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Camelback). They came out on top against the Cesar Chavez Champions by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Camelback's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Cesar Chavez, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camelback will challenge Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Camelback is facing Apollo at the right time seeing as Apollo is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cesar Chavez, they will face off against South Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
