Baseball Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Gets the Win

Woodlawn-B.R.'s game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Springfield Bulldogs.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Mckenzie, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Woodlawn-B.R. back to even at 1-1. As for Springfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Springfield beat Woodlawn-B.R. by a score of 13-0 on Friday.
