Basketball Recap: Southeast Guilford Takes a Loss

Southeast Guilford lost against Page back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southeast Guilford Falcons fell to the Page Pirates 57-51.

When it comes to explaining why Southeast Guilford lost, don't look at Byron Arant. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-13 en route to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Arant is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Justin Geter was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Southeast Guilford has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Page, their record now sits at 11-13.

As of now, neither Southeast Guilford nor Page have any future games scheduled.
