Softball Recap: Sneads Takes a Loss

Sneads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blountstown Tigers, falling 16-6. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Skyleigh O'Connor and Isabella Williams did some serious damage despite the final result: O'Connor scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Williams scored two runs and stole Five bases. while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in February of 2024.

Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Blountstown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sneads didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-6 victory against Malone on the 27th. As for Blountstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 17-6 loss against Chiles on the 25th.
