Softball Recap: Bishop Blanchet Takes a Loss

Bishop Blanchet lost against Garfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 16-15. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Blanchet's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Garfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Bishop Blanchet will challenge Nathan Hale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Garfield, they will face off against Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
