Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Oakwood took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Marina, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mariners on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Oakwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Marina, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Oakwood will challenge Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marina, they will head out on the road to challenge Pajaro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mariners' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
