Softball Recap: Mojave Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chaparral last Wednesday, Mojave came back down to earth. The Rattlers lost 16-1 to the Foothill Falcons on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Rattlers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Mojave saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadin Broadnax, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Foothill, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mojave is set to face off against their familiar foe Southeast Career Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Foothill will take on rival Chaparral at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
