Softball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Lakewood Gators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 back in March.

Crestwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaire Ransom, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lakewood, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Crestwood will head out on the road to challenge Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
