Chace Hurley Delivers Best Effort of Season
Chace Hurley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pueblo South to the win on Thursday. Hurley picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
The win was the fourth in a row for Pueblo South, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Hurley and Pueblo South will face off against Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Devon Baker and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Discovery Canyon picked up their fourth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Devon Baker. Baker was unstoppable, picking up a sack and making four total tackles. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.
Discovery Canyon pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Herrera Came Up Big in Pueblo South's 47-0 Win
The second Pueblo South player making an appearance here is Caeden Herrera, and for good reason. He threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes.
Pueblo Centennial's probably not too fond of Herrera given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Herrera saw the Bulldogs), he threw for 76 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards.

Hayden Jones Makes It Two for Discovery Canyon
The second Discovery Canyon player making an appearance here is Hayden Jones, and for good reason. He threw for 132 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Jones has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 79.7 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had five passing touchdowns.
