Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal added to an impressive 2019 recruiting class Saturday with the addition of No. 2 overall prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux of Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.).

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end is coming off a senior season where he piled up 54 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 18 sacks for the 12-1 Lions.

The Ducks were a strong favorite heading into his ESPN-televised announcement, but Alabama, Florida State and USC were among other schools heavily involved in his recruitment.

With the addition of Thibodeaux, 247Sports has Oregon's recruiting class among the top five in the country.
