Baseball Recap: Melbourne Takes a Loss

Melbourne had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Satellite Scorpions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 9-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Melbourne got a good showing from Zac Forcier, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Looking ahead, Melbourne will take on Rockledge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Satellite, they will face off against Melbourne Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
