Baseball Game Preview: Viewmont Vikings vs. Skyline Eagles

For the second straight game, Viewmont will face off against Skyline. The Vikings will face off against the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Viewmont has lost three straight at home , while Skyline has lost five on the road.

On Monday, Viewmont came up short against Skyline and fell 8-5.

For Skyline's part, they got a massive performance out of Abe Wilson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Wilson has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Steven Pedroza, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Skyline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Viewmont only posted a batting average of .200.

With the victory, Skyline broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-16. As for Viewmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.
