Basketball Recap: Tekamah-Herman Tigers vs. Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs
Tekamah-Herman lost against Humphrey-Lindsay back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tekamah-Herman Tigers fell 69-56 to the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Tekamah-Herman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brody Haag made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points. Those 14 points gave Haag a new career-high. Griffin Breckenridge was another key player, going 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points.
Owen Kurtenbach was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds for Humphrey-Lindsay. Kurtenbach's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Groteluschen, who went 5 for 8 to rack up 11 points and seven boards.
Tekamah-Herman's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
