It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Folsom can now relate to. They fell 47-38 to the De La Salle Spartans on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Folsom lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Siyahe Siaisiai, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joven Dulay, who earned 12 points.

Folsom's loss dropped their record down to 28-4. As for De La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for De La Salle, they have already played their next game, a 52-40 defeat against Archbishop Riordan on the 11th.
