Football Recap: Back of the Yards College Prep Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Back of the Yards College Prep's offense. They were outmatched by Woodlawn and fell 34-0. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 36-0 to Woodlawn when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat snapped Back of the Yards College Prep's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3-1 record. As for Woodlawn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bobcats 14, DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Woodlawn will challenge rival Gage Park at 3:30 p.m. on the 18th.
