Softball Recap: South Lamar Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

South Lamar took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Gordo, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The South Lamar Stallions beat the Gordo Green Wave on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Stallions as they're now sitting on three straight.

South Lamar's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gordo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

South Lamar has already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Lamar County on the 8th. As for Gordo, they will take on Bibb County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
