Baseball Recap: Leavitt Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leavitt can now relate to. They lost 12-1 to the Greely Rangers on Thursday.

Leavitt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Harrington, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Leavitt's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Greely, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Leavitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greely, they will face off against Lake Region on Saturday. The Lakers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight.
