Baseball Recap: Assumption Comes Up Short

Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to the Marathon Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Tuesday.

Assumption's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Marathon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Assumption has already played their next match (against Almond-Bancroft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marathon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 win against Athens on the 2nd.
