Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewiston-Altura). They blew past the Houston Hurricanes 11-5 on Monday. The Cardinals not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 9-0).

The win made it two in a row for Lewiston-Altura and bumps their season record up to 4-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Houston, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston-Altura will square off against Cotter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houston, they will face off against Schaeffer Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
