Soccer Recap: Jefferson Finishes Even with Bastrop

For the first time this season, Jefferson was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Bastrop Bears could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Hailemariam Elias and Samuel Arreola scored both of Jefferson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Jefferson's draw makes their record 2-2-1 this season. As for Bastrop, they moved theirs to 4-0-1.

Jefferson will square off against Boerne-Champion at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Bastrop, they will challenge Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Bastrop is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
