Baseball Recap: Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Elizabeth fell victim to Torres and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Toros, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Elizabeth and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Torres, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Elizabeth will square off against rival Maywood CES at 1:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Torres is set to face off against their familiar foe Maywood Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
