Volleyball Recap: Florence Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

Florence won the last time they faced James Irwin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Huskies have beaten the Jaguars on their court since October 11, 2018.

The victory didn't come easy: James Irwin scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 28-26, 25-23.

James Irwin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lilliana Vanasse, who had 35 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Trujillo, who had 12 assists and seven digs.

Meanwhile, James Irwin will face off against The Vanguard School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (320 vs. 108).
