Softball Recap: Whitehaven Tigers vs. White Station Spartans
Whitehaven extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-7. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the White Station Spartans. Even if the Tigers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

For White Station's part, they let Debra Echlin and Baily Britt run wild. Echlin went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI, while Britt went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave Britt a new career-high. Catherine Knott-Craig also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
