Baseball Recap: Enid Takes a Loss

Enid blew Sapulpa out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Sapulpa got their revenge. The Pacer Plainsmen fell just short of the Chieftains by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Pacer Plainsmen couldn't push the score so high this time.

Enid has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-15 record this season. As for Sapulpa, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-18.

Enid didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Putnam City North on the 6th. As for Sapulpa, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Stillwater on the 6th.
