Twin Springs managed to slip by Eastside the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans came up short against the Spartans on Monday, falling 13-3. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Aubrey Meade was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Twin Springs' loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Eastside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Twin Springs will challenge rival J.I. Burton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Black Raiders a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Eastside is set to face off against their familiar foe Thomas Walker at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
