Softball Recap: Concordia Takes a Loss

Concordia managed to slip by Rock Creek the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Mustangs on Friday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kinsleigh Bethune was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

With the defeat, Concordia broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. As for Rock Creek, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Concordia is set to challenge their familiar foe Abilene at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Rock Creek will face off against rival Marysville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
