Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Eastlake Falcons on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Silver Foxes in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Eastlake, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will be taking part in a tournament against Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Eastlake, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons challenge the Thunderbirds at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Eastlake's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
