Softball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Ewing hit Princeton with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell 8-5 to the Blue Devils. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Princeton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Ewing, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

While Princeton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
