Football Recap: Hillside Starts Season with Victory Against E.E. Smith + How To Watch

Hillside gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They never let the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Golden Bulls are ranked 295th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Looking ahead, Hillside is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Panther Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for E.E. Smith, they will host Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
