Soccer Recap: Alexandria-Monroe Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Alexandria-Monroe's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Anderson Indians on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Alexandria-Monroe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Anderson are ranked 66th).

Alexandria-Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Anderson, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Coming up, Alexandria-Monroe will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Rossville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
