If Littleton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Golden, they should've done a better job of containing Leif Hansen. The Golden Demons blew past the Littleton Lions 68-44 on Wednesday thanks in part to Hansen, who posted ten points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Despite the loss, Littleton had strong showings from Tyler Griffin, who put up 14 points, and Gavin Cantrell, who earned nine points. Griffin also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sam Lasswell, who scored four points and three steals.

Golden's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Littleton, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Golden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-44 win against Conifer on the 31st. As for Littleton, they will square off against Wheat Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wheat Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Littleton likes a good challenge.
