Soccer Recap: Platt Takes a Loss

Platt managed to slip by Southington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 7-0 to the Blue Knights on Friday. It was the first time this season that Platt let down their fans at home.

Platt's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Southington, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Platt will venture away from home to square off against New Britain at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Platt will be up against New Britain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.6 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southington, they will take on Berlin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
