Volleyball Recap: Marquette Mustangs vs. Huntley Red Raiders
Marquette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Huntley Red Raiders.
While Marquette had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.
Marquette's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Huntley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.
Marquette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Assumption on the 4th. As for Huntley, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Berkeley Prep at 2:00 p.m.
